The PixPuffin system has been in development for 10 years and is built around the NordicPhotos online image database. During the last 10 years NordicPhotos has merged and worked with over 100 image collections, counting millions of images from different image managing systems, using differing categories and in many different language.

NordicPhotos organizes images from over 500 professional photographers and agencies who upload images daily. Those photos are then categorised, managed and filed simultaneously in 5 different languages. During those 10 years we have accumulated an enormous amount of experience in the field. With the arrival of digital cameras and camera phones the amount of images, photos and other visual material at businesses, institutions and individuals has multiplied and it is essential to organize and store this valuable data well and safely.
